External Website Guides:
Here will be a set of helpful links to various website guides found around the internet. Sometimes some of the answers needed are not found on these guides, so either post a question down below in a post, or we'll try to explain any we recognize as not being listed on our own. :)

Weather Guide:

Now at times you'll find yourself sailing on a rather long voyage like a spice run to SEA, you'll find your cargo space limited for provisions. Along your trek you'll find your food and water running out quickly. Food can be gotten via fishing and converting the fish into food. But water? Well water can only be gotten through procurement via the rain (or alcohol but again we're talking only spices and food/water in cargo). If you run the Spice-Run business long enough you'll know approximately where the rainstorms will hit and where they'll be at their most scarce. Thus it is important to know how to predict when or where the rain will be coming.

You will find yourself needing to look at the sky for the answer of rain. Obviously. But what to look for? The game has the 'big puffy clouds' but not quite. It's no use predicting rain if it's already upon you. Well good thing the game developers thought this one through accurately. In real life (what's that?) Cirrus clouds, or 'Mare's Tails' clouds precede any storm front almost always. They can also follow a storm, but then you wouldn't need to be predicting a storm when you just exited one.

The game developers included this little bit of meteorology into the game. In the picture above you'll see an example of Cirrus/Mare's Tail clouds. They look like that sweeping almost Nike swoosh shape. In game you'll see those as well, and wherever they're stemming from is where the storm will be coming from. Usually within 3-5 game days, aka 3-5 minutes approximately irl. This is granted you don't change sea regions of course, otherwise you could avoid a storm altogether.

Sign to look for: Cirrus or Mare's Tail clouds
Length of time till rain: Approximately 3-5 game days or 3-5 minutes irl.
What you ought to do when it rains: Use Procurement ya derp!

Happy Cloud Hunting everyone! :D
